Considering brands need to treat Instagram as an extension of their websites, it is natural that they should be synergistic for the maximum brand awareness and impact on the target audience.  Therefore, it is necessary for marketers to avoid making mistakes in web design that can have an adverse impact on the performance and ROI of their Instagram marketing campaign. Some of the most common web design bloopers that you need to avoid to prevent the weakening of your Instagram presence and its potential to generate traffic to your website. 

Blunder No. 1: Absence of a Clear and Compelling CTA

The reason why brands need to have a presence on Instagram is to increase their reach in the target audience and engage with them in a friendlier and more informal manner than what is normally possible on a website. The success of a marketing campaign on Instagram is measured by the number of visitors it generates for the website and ultimately, the number of conversions that happen thereafter.

Blunder no.5: Keeping Important Information Hidden Deep Inside

You simply cannot bury vital information deep inside your website. You must be fully aware that web surfers are always hard-pressed for time and so they are quite impatient. They have no time to delve deep inside your site. As per the findings of Garner Group, over 50 % of total web sales do not materialize simply because visitors fail to find what they want. If your vital information is buried too deep inside, you are missing out on 50 percent of your overall sales. Remember your website must be designed like a newspaper. All important information must be prominent and highlighted so that visitors could see them at once.
