For different reasons, the UAE government may require attestation of certificates, both personal and educational, by the UAE embassy. Hence, people look for attestation services in Dubai to get some help with their attestation process.

The different procedures of attesting a document or a certificate can be cumbersome, and it means that the document gets legalized by the UAE embassy. Procedures for Attestation in UAE Embassy

There are multiple procedures that are required for the complete attestation of any document or certificate in the UAE embassy. Usually, the procedures are divided into a lengthy process and fast process.

Also, the attestation process for educational documents and non-educational documents is different. Both of the procedures for all types of documents are given as follows:

Lengthy Process for Educational Documents

Here, the certificates or the documents that need to get attested are notarized by the Notary Public. The authentication procedure is overseen by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and is undertaken by the State Level HRD Department.

After that, the Ministry of External Affairs, or MEA, legalizes the documents. Finally, the documents get authenticated by the UAE Embassy-Consular Office.

Ordinarily, the degrees such as school board certificate degrees, diplomas, professional degrees, college degrees, higher education degrees, law degrees, and medical degrees are authenticated in such a manner. Many attestation services in Dubai are available for the smooth attestation process for students and employees.

Fast Process for Educational Documents

The authorization of the documents will also be done and notarized by the Notary Public at first. After that, the documents will be attested by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate or the SDM.

Once it is done, the Ministry of External Affairs will take care of the attestation process of the required documents. On finishing, the attestation process will be done by the government. Finally, the papers will be legalized by the Consulate or the UAE embassy.

Documents Required for the Attestation Process of Educational Documents

The candidates should produce some identity or proof documents beforehand for the attestation of the documents or certificates to be appropriately completed.

The list of the required documents for the attestation of certificates by the UAE embassy is given as follows:

  • The education document, in original.
  • A proper and clear Xerox copy of both the first page and the last page of the passport. The copy should be of the passport of the candidate.
  • Xerox copies of semester mark sheets or work record sheets.
  • Xerox copy of the letter issued by the previous employer regarding experience.

Similarly, the procedures and requirements for the non-educational certificates or documents are given as follows:

Lengthy Process for Non-Educational Documents

For the non-educational documents, this process starts with the documents getting notarized by the Notary Public. After that, the attestation procedure will be done by the General Administrative Department or GAD and the Regional Attestation Centre, or RAC. Next, it will be authorized by the MEA, and finally, the process will be complete with the attestation by the UAE embassy.

Fast Process for Non-Educational Documents

For the fast process, the Notary Public will notarize the document at first. Then, the attestation process will go by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, MEA, and finally be legalized by the UAE embassy.

The usual non-educational documents include certificates for divorce, police clearance, medical conditions, death, birth, singleness status, marriage, etc.

Required Documents for the Attestation Process of Non-Educational Documents

The required documents include:

  • Non-educational documents in original.
  • Xerox copy of candidate’s passport. Only the first and last page is required.

Final Words

With the help of the attestation services in Dubai, it is possible to avoid the hassle of getting your documents attested by the UAE embassy.
