It is still considered as “farming”, a repeatable task and not many players are truly wishing to do it, so this creates a gap, if you can find a resource which is not commonly available on the markets, you can exploit it to earn you even more coins in the game.
The resource gathering professions are divided into 3 groups:
- Lower tier – common items like Wood and Stones found easily, available almost everywhere with cheap pricing on the trading posts.
- Middle tier – there are items like Oil when mining, not available in every zone, but still profitable as they are used in many refining and crafting professions
- High / Rare Tier – these are only available to players with level 50+. Dedicating time to gather high level resource nodes is always profitable because all of these are used in plenty for the end-game content.
