We’re all used to playing Oldschool Runescape on our PCs and Laptops. Who would have ever thought that in October of 2018, we’d be able to play our favorite game directly from our phones?
Although a lot of the game content is much easier to navigate and play for most of us on our PCs, what are some of the things we could use OSRS Mobile for that may be useful?
Here are three ways to utilize RS Mobile and reap the benefits.
OSRS Mobile Money Making
There are a few ways you could make money while playing on mobile. Most of the available money makers in the game are doable on mobile, too, although some may be quite intensive for mobile capabilities.
However, if you enjoy using the Grand Exchange to make money, then OSRS Mobile will be your best friend. Now, you can simply log on, check your offers, update them, log off. No matter where you are; Waiting for a bus, quick lunch break, going for a walk, whatever it may be. Being able to update your Grand Exchange offers on the go means you can be sure to take advantage of the market no matter where you are, a huge convenience factor for marching.
Of course, with marching on the Grand Exchange, you need money to make money. That’s how investing and flipping works.
If you don’t have that much money to work within the game, you could consider the possibility to buy OSRS Gold, giving you the headstart you need to start raking in some profits.
Touchscreen Capabilities
Although touchscreen capabilities exist on some laptops, most of us don’t have that. We use our touchpads and mice, clicking our way through Runescape.
Touchscreen means now we can tap our way through Gielinor, and there are a few ways that can be useful.
Methods in-game for skilling, such as fletching darts, require constant clicking and moving of the mouse. However, now on mobile, you’re able to tap with your fingers. For most people, this will be a faster method of fletching than traditionally and relatively easy too. Nothing moves around on the screen. You could fletch your darts while watching a movie, relaxing in bed before sleeping, and so much more.
The other main area in which touchscreen capabilities shine is with the ability to set your left tap to drop items in your inventory rather than using them. So now, when you’re Barbarian
Fishing, you can simply tap the fish in your invent with your fingers to drop them to the floor. Very convenient and of low-intensity enough to do on mobile while completing the other tasks you may have in your day.
Runescape Mobile is on Tablet too!
The apps for Old School Runescape Mobile are also available on tablets! One of the drawbacks of playing Runescape on your phone is the restrictive screen size. The smaller inventory icons and click areas can result in more misclicks or tedious navigation throughout the world. Now, with a tablet, everything just got bigger, better, and more manageable! The bigger screen allows for easier touch input and a better visual experience closer to a PC or a laptop.
