Composition

The flooring is manufactured using the extrusion molding process. The flooring consists of multiple layers like the bottom backing layer, fill layer and print layer. The top most layer is the wear layer, which often has a clear coating of aluminum oxide for protection. Installation
One of the main reasons why LVT flooring is very popular is because it is very easy to install compared to other flooring. The flooring is available in the form of planks, which can be glued to the surface, or just properly aligned.
