Hot-Fill Bottle Machines
Special blowing machines, also known as blow moulding machines or bottling machines, are used to produce hot-filled bottles. The first stage is the preparation of a semifinished product – a preform – from which the finished bottle is made. During blow moulding, the resin structure is transformed from an amorphous to a semi-crystalline structure. After filling, the PET bottle must be cooled down immediately. During the cooling, the volume of the liquid decreases.
