Deciding on a job can be a difficult task due to many options. However, if you have a six-figure income goal, it narrows your options. There are many things to consider as you try to plan for a prosperous financial future.

Here are some of the highest-paying jobs:

  1. Medical and Healthcare Manager

A health services manager or administrator is in charge of planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising health care delivery for an entire clinic, hospital, or a specific department.  A few examples include nursing home administrator, medical records manager, and practice administrator.

A bachelor’s degree is usually required to work in health services administration, health sciences, or public health. Many employers may also want candidates with a master’s degree.

You can also learn through various online courses about managing change and disruption in the healthcare industry.

The metro area of Vallejo and Fairfield, California, has the highest mean pay in the US at $174,010 for healthcare administrators.

  1.  Human Resources Manager

If you enjoy working with people, a career as a human resources manager could be ideal for you. You will be a link between a company’s management and staff and coordinate the company’s human resources staffing initiatives. While a bachelor’s degree is required by most employers, a master’s degree may be needed in some cases.

In Connecticut’s Bridgeport, Stamford, and Norwalk metropolitan areas, the average is $194,040 per year.

  1.  Computer and Information Research Scientist

If you are considering a career in computer and information science, your heart is in the right place, as it is one of the fastest-growing industries. You will have to obtain a master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline to get the position.

In the San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara metropolitan areas of California, the yearly average income for these jobs is $170,890.

  1. Commercial Pilot

Commercial pilots fly unscheduled flights such as charter air carriers and aerial trips. They are different from airline pilots, who carry passengers according to a predetermined timetable. Commercial pilots could even work as business pilots, transporting senior executives. Though you do not need a graduate degree, you will need a commercial pilot’s license from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Sioux City, Iowa, metro area has the most earning potential for commercial pilots with a mean annual income of $153,990.

  1. Economists

Economists analyze economic data, spot patterns, and stay current on issues impacting the production and distribution of commodities, services, and resources in various situations. The majority of their jobs are in the government sector. Positions in the public sector typically need a graduate degree, while those in the private sector may also demand work experience.

The average yearly salary is $153,610 in the New York metropolitan area.

  1. Marketing Manager

Having the ability to spot new markets, forecast demand, and devise effective pricing strategies for goods or services can benefit a company. Market managers can create outcomes such as increased earnings, increased market share, and improved customer or client satisfaction. That is why many marketing managers are handsomely compensated.

The average annual salary of a market manager is $154,470.

There are numerous high-paying jobs available. To be eligible for them, maintaining a positive attitude and committing to learning and professional progress are traits essential for growth.
