3. Hogue Compound
An unorthodox knife, the Hogue Compound is a great choice for a budget OTF knife. It’s got a superb organic-style handle that fits well into your hands and looks great too. Like the Infidel, it’s a double-action knife.
The blade is made of powdered steel and ends in a clip point. It’s 3.5-inches of well-made steel that can cut through almost anything.
It’s a pleasantly light knife too. You’ll not notice it’s in your pocket, even if you carry it all day long.
4. Mod/Harkins Triton
Speaking of lightweight blades, the Triton is another great option for those who want a featherweight OTF knife. This dagger-style OTF knife had a starring role in Quantum of Solace and is one of the greatest OTF knives ever made.
The blade is half-serrated, which is great for a multipurpose pocket knife. It’s also finished in black, for a great stealth look.
Sadly, you can no longer buy the Triton as it’s out of production. If you find a cheap used one, we’d recommend grabbing it.
